It works by storing your website files on a server (a centered high power system) connected to high speed network. Before you book a space on the server you should have a website name that can have a domain name (unique name accompanied by .com/.in/.org etc.). For e.g. you want your website to be named as WebSolutionCafe then the domain name will be www.websolutioncafe.com where WWW denotes that the World Wide Web and .com/.in etc., is the extension.
